Abduction in the Dark

GIVEAWAY

NIGHT, JENNA
ABDUCTION IN THE DARK

Her sanctuary is breached...and a child's life is at stake.

When kidnappers attempt to abduct her nephew, Tanay Rivera will do anything to protect him -- even team up with bounty hunter Danny Ryan. But after Tanya unknowingly crosses the path of the criminal mastermind, she becomes the new target. With Danny by her side and her nephew finally safe elsewhere, it's a race to untangle the culprit's web before deadly danger catches up with them...

A Range River Bounty Hunters Thriller

My Review:

Whoa -- heart-in-throat opening scene kickstarts a tense, action-packed suspense and the relentless pace doesn't stop until the very end! Night has a way of creating the kind of ambiance that has a reader anticipating danger at every turn. Even her opening sentence, "The knocking at the front door was unexpected." gives off ominous vibes. And she's an amazing whiz at action scene choreography. I could see it all playing out in my mind -- every duck and dive and whizzing bullet. :-)

Danny and Tanya knew each other in high school. He was Mr. Popularity, she was not, so while they were aware of each other, their paths never really crossed until one fateful night when Tanya's home is invaded and...well, let's just say it's an intense meet-cute you'll want to read for yourself. Have some comfort chocolate and a teddy bear on hand to soothe  sensitive readerly nerves!

Love the glimpse Night gives us into the inner workings of the Bounty Hunter profession and she's included a solid team of secondary characters who provide excellent backup for our hero and heroine, as well as the kind of camaraderie I love to find in my suspense novels. This is the first book in A Range Rive Bounty Hunters Thriller series and the second similarly themed series by this author and I'm definitely eager to read more!

  5. Amazing author whose books never disappoint. Sure sounds like ABDUCTION IN THE DARK won't either. On my TBR list and can't wait to read Tanay and Danny's story. You know the maternal instincts are going to be claws out for that little boy too. Love them body guards!

Thanks for the chance to win a copy! With four chances, I'm hoping the odds are in my favor.
