Always Look Twice

GIVEAWAY
GODDARD, ELIZABETH
ALWAYS LOOK TWICE

While photographing the Grand Tetons, Harper Reynolds unwittingly captures a murder on film. But when she loses the camera fleeing the scene, can she and rancher Heath McKade find the camera and solve the murder before the killer makes her his next victim?

My Review:

Heart palpitatingly good! Goddard sure knows how to spin a twisty, turny hair-raising suspense! And I love the romance angle -- middle grade best buds torn apart by tragedy reunite in the crosshairs of a killer.

Harper and Heath have a lot of catching up to do in the midst of multiple attacks on so many different fronts. I'd just breathe a sigh of relief and...whoosh...something else happens. Loved trying to fit the pieces of the mystery together. I went chasing after more than one red herring in my quest to save Harper so these two could get some breathing time to figure out their hearts. :-)

This is the second book in Goddard's Uncommon Justice series and I'm jumping up and down in a fit of bibliophile ecstasy because we have one more McKade brother story to read. Don't Keep Silent is Liam's story and comes out in June. He makes an appearance in this one and definitely has me intrigued.

  4. The first thing to grab me is that wonderful cover. Hubby and I love photography taking some kind of photo every day. So naturally the camera toting girl immediately yells at me STOP check me out.

Then I get to the first sentence of the write up and it says Grand Tetons. In each of the last two years we have spent a week in the Grand Tetons photographing both the gorgeous scenery and the abundant wildlife. Nothing like it or that place. We love it and are planning a return trip in a couple years - if we can wait that long.

Then last but surely not least, your review mentions hair-raising suspense and romance - a combination I can't resist. Then again why should we!

Thank you for the opportunity to win a copy of "ALWAYS LOOK TWICE"!
