Trapped

GIVEAWAY
DALEY, MARGARET
TRAPPED

Second Chances. Cornered. Murder.

Sadie Williams receives a cryptic and terrifying call from her scared sister. But when Sadie arrives at her identical twin's home, there's no sign o Katie, only evidence of a quick flight. The puzzling situation turns potentially deadly when intruders storm the house. With help from Brock Carrington, her ex-fiance and an ex-Marine, Sadie narrowly escapes.

Brock is an injured veteran dealing with PTSD. He's finally piecing his life back together when his ex-fiancee needs his help. Can Brock reignite their relationship and find her missing twin before they're both killed?

My Review:

First off...pretty cool cover, right? Definitely encourages a reader to dive right in! If the hero doesn't get you, the golden retriever will! Together, they make a lethal warm fuzzy combination. He's a wounded vet who has managed to drag himself back from a dark place with the aid of therapy dog Bella (who also has a search and rescue side line which comes in pretty handy!)

It's been four years since Brock pushed Sadie out of his life but she needs him now and he's not about to let her down. Phew! This one is an edge-of-your-seater. A wounded vet with broken dreams, a reunion romance  and the kind of breath-snatching suspense that crackles with tension. So does the romance, for that matter. The kind of novel you want to gobble up in one sitting.

I listened to the audible version of Trapped narrated by Kim Niemi. She did a great job of drawing out the tension and kept me entranced the whole non-stop 3 hours and 46 minutes!

  5. Anyone that doesn't LOVE that cover has something very bad wrong with them!

Being an old Army brat, I have this very soft spot for stories with a veteran to start with. Make it a wounded warrior and I'm all in no questions asked.

Howver, this storyline would grab you, hook you and thrown you on the reading couch without much effort at all. I can't wait for the opportunity to read it.

Thanks you for the chance to win a copy. Have a wonderful upcoming week!
