Reader's Choice -- Contemporary Romance / Fiction

GIVEAWAY

Eeeep! The start of a New Year means the beginning of new fictional adventures and that means...

Reader's Choice Giveaway!
New Year's Edition!!

So here's how this things works: You recommend CHRISTIAN FICTION titles with release dates in January, February or March 2021 (up to three suggestions per genre day) and you have a chance to win one of your recommendations! BUT it's a little more complicated than that so be sure to read ALL the details before entering.

PLEASE NOTE: email entries are not eligible this week :-(

It's CONTEMPORARY ROMANCE / FICTION
GIVEAWAY DAY

To be entered in the draw just leave a comment (or 3) below, including the title(s) of the book(s) in the Contemporary Romance / Fiction genre you would like to win.

Contemporary Romance / Fiction -- a full length story or novella or collection of novellas set in any time period after 1980. May cross genres such as YA, suspense, Amish etc and may include dual timelines.

How does it work?

Easy peasy! Make recommendations in the comment section each day and if you win, you win the book you suggested.

BUT YOU GOTTA FOLLOW THE RULES!

Publications dates must be
January, February or March 2021
Each day is genre specific so
only submit books from that genre
Christian Fiction books only please!
You can offer up to 3 suggestions
per genre day
BUT
they need to be made in
three separate comments
(makes it easier to tally)
No email entries this week
(too hard to keep track due to
# of responses)
entrants must submit their own selections
(not piggyback on someone else's login)
Open to International Readers
(I'm all about spreading the good news
about Christian Fiction far and wide)

It's helpful if you include your email (using AT and DOT instead of @ and . to protect yourself from spammers) but you only need to add it to one of your comments (per day). If you choose not to include your email then it's up to you to contact me if you're a winner.

Draw will be held and winner announced on
Saturday January 2 2021

  1. I love that I have gotten more into contemporary fiction this year! And have read some awesome books by some authors I've been wanting to try for a long time. I was a toe dipper in this genre but I'm glad I stepped out of my norm 😊

    Without further ado:

    1. Oooohhhh - I've never read anything by Christina Suzann Nelson. Sounds really angsty and emotional. I'm in! And I've given up on trying to keep up with Susan May Warren! Thrilled that she has a new contemporary romance coming out though. Good luck, Trixi!

    2. She wrote "More Than We Remember" earlier this year, that's how I discovered her. I reviewed it through Bethany House. It's such an emotional rollercoaster! Oh but so, so good!!! I anticipate this will be just as good.

Yep, I agree! I can't keep up with Susan May Warren either. I'm happy to see a new contemporary coming out because her romantic suspense is fantastic! I expect nothing less from her 😊

    3. Duh! I read that book!!! Recognized the cover and checked my the authors on my sidebar and yep, Chritina Suzann Nelson is there. Rolling my eyes and shaking my head.

  6. Many of my fave contemporary authors have full-length books coming out in April or May so they're a bit hard to find. The searching is fun, however, bc there's some great books coming out I wasn't aware of!

    2. Bwahahaha -- you've bewitched blogger! I can't believe that Susan May Warren has a second book coming out in the New Year -- January and March. Oy, I better keep on top of this. Good luck, Diana!

    3. Maybe I can bewitch random number, too! Bwahahaha Yes, this is the 2nd one Susie May went into cahoots with Rachel as Tracey so eloquently explained. I like the description of this one better than the 1st release in January.

  7. Still the One
by Susan May Warren and Rachel D Russell 1/12

Susan is doing something fun through her new Sunrise Publishing. She wrote a prequel, Only You, available through her newsletter. Then has 3 up and coming authors write the next three books in the series using the power of her name on each one. Such a great way to introduce new authors. Rachel looks like she's going to be really good based on the teaser I read. (the first book is available in ebook or paperpack)

    1. Waiiiittttt....so Susan may Warren hasn't written this one? Or is she co-authoring it? Cause it's set in Deep Haven. I'm so confused. Oh -- good luck, Traey!

      Delete
    2. No, she did not write the next three books in this series. She mentored the three authors and like their work enough to let each write a book in the series, but is using her name for the draw. I'm sure she read each along the way and offered suggestions, but it isn't her doing the writing.
I just learned in the last few months authors are doing this and letting others write using their name.

      Delete
    3. I have never heard of that before. I guess she has part in some of the creative content since the book is set in a town she created but still, it's weird to put your name on something that you haven't written. Mentoring new authors is great though.

      Delete
    4. Susan Mae Warren, Rachel Hauck, and Lynette Eason are all mentoring authors as a part of Sunrise Publishing Group. I am excited to see some new authors continue The Elite Guardians series by Lynette Eason.

    5. Oh, so that's how they are doing it? Lending their series setting and characters to new authors? That is kinda neat.

    1. Ha! This is a case of the paperback being published in January and the Kindle version in February. Still can't figure out why they think that's a good idea. Either way, it works for our purposes. Good luck, Diana!

      Delete
    2. I'm not sure why that's done either. Seems like they'd release both at the same time. It's irritating to readers who only read paperbacks when ebook releases 1st. I've found it harder to promo an author's release day on social media when e-book releases 1st.
