Reader's Choice -- Historical Romance / Fiction

GIVEAWAY

Eeeep! The start of a New Year means the beginning of new fictional adventures and that means...

Reader's Choice Giveaway!
New Year's Edition!!

So here's how this things works: You recommend CHRISTIAN FICTION titles with release dates in January, February or March 2021 (up to three suggestions per genre day) and you have a chance to win one of your recommendations! BUT it's a little more complicated than that so be sure to read ALL the details before entering.

PLEASE NOTE: email entries are not eligible this week :-(

It's HISTORICAL ROMANCE / FICTION
GIVEAWAY DAY

To be entered in the draw just leave a comment (or 3) below, including the title(s) of the book(s) in the Historical Romance / Fiction genre you would like to win.

Historical Romance / Fiction -- a full length story or novella or collection of novellas set in any time period before the 1970s. May cross genres such as YA, suspense, Amish etc and may include dual timelines.

How does it work?

Easy peasy! Make recommendations in the comment section each day and if you win, you win the book you suggested.

BUT YOU GOTTA FOLLOW THE RULES!

Publications dates must be
January, February or March 2021
Each day is genre specific so
only submit books from that genre
Christian Fiction books only please!
You can offer up to 3 suggestions
per genre day
BUT
they need to be made in
three separate comments
(makes it easier to tally)
No email entries this week
(too hard to keep track due to
# of responses)
entrants must submit their own selections
(not piggyback on someone else's login)
Open to International Readers
(I'm all about spreading the good news
about Christian Fiction far and wide)

It's helpful if you include your email (using AT and DOT instead of @ and . to protect yourself from spammers) but you only need to add it to one of your comments (per day). If you choose not to include your email then it's up to you to contact me if you're a winner.

Draw will be held and winner announced on
Saturday January 2 2021

  1. Good morning, Kav! I trust that you had a safe, wonderful Christmas! I was in much pain the 1st 2 weeks of Dec, but it let up some so I could enjoy Christmas with my grands & grown kids. But I obviously can't sleep so here I am.

    1. First off, I'm so sorry you have been experiencing pain! Glad that it eased a bit over Christmas but here's praying it's banished for good!

What an excellent sampling of historical to come. You managed to find one for every month! I think I'm most excited about the Dongeal one because...Ireland! Good luck, Diana!

    2. Thanks, Kav. I appreciate the prayers! I don't know how I accomplished all I did for Christmas & 4 gkids, but God is faithful. And praise Him for online shopping! Yes, and that lovely Irish cover! Drooling...

    1. Eeeep! Another debut author in the new year and a dual timeline to boot. It sounds really good! And, helllooo, cowboys and Jody Hedlund> Yes please! I'm a bit torn about Roseanna M. White's new series since I've so loved her English setting ones. Not sure how I'll make the transition! Good luck, Tracey!

    2. I don't know about the transition from England for you, but I do love Savannah and our American history so this one's right up my alley!

      Delete
    3. Savannah is a stand alone, Roseanna has another series starting a little later in the year.

      Delete
    4. Ooooohhh -- any details on that, Paula? I love when you guys share your inside scoops!

    5. The next series book #1 for Roseanna is The Nature of a Lady coming in May.

    6. Eeeeeepppp! Now that looks super exciting! Thanks, Paula!

  8. Thank you for this fun week of book-talk! I started looking at upcoming releases on the Bethany House website and found more than three of interest. So, I will start with one not yet mentioned - The Prince of Spies by Elizabeth Camden, book 3 of the Hope and Glory series.

  9. Another not mentioned - Braced for Love by Mary Connealy.

  10. Dreams of Savannah by Roseanna White. Thanks! Hope y'all had a pleasant Christmas and are still enjoying those baked goodies.

    1. Yipeee on The Prince of Spies -- that one snuck up on me but I need to continue with this series. It's Luke's turn!!!!!! And a new Connealy starting up so soon after the last one. Yeehaw!

Christmas was quiet here. We've started a second lockdown -- all of Ontario -- yesterday. This time with some modifications. Like the library is closed but we can drop books off outside and staff will fetch holds for us. Brrrr. What a time for staff to have to be loitering outside all day. But I'm grateful I'll be able to pick up books (and return them, of course.) Good luck, CC!

    5. Kav, from what I understand, they did use "beetle wings from iridescent wing-cases of Buprestidae beetles (better known as jewel beetles)" quote taken from the Victoria & Albert Museum website in London.

I guess that's no more morbid than when they used to take pictures with their dead family members or make necklaces, brooches and stuff with a deceased woman's hair.
