Reader's Choice -- Historical Romance/Fiction

GIVEAWAY

Spring has sprung! (in climates south of me, at least.) And that means publishers are getting ready to shower us with new releases. Everybody -- SQUEEEEPPPP - together!  I'm so excited!

So here's how this thing works: You recommend Christian fiction with release dates in April, May or June 2018 (up to three a day) and you have a chance to win one of your recommendations! BUT it's a little more complicated than that so be sure to read ALL the details before entering.

PLEASE NOTE: email entries are not eligible this week. :-(

IT'S HISTORICAL ROMANCE/FICTION GIVEAWAY DAY!

To be entered in the draw just leave a comment (or 3) below, including the title(s) of the book(s) in the Historical Romance/Fiction genre you would like to win.

Historical Romance/Fiction

A full-length story OR novella collection set in any time period before the 1970s . May cross genres such as YA, suspense, Amish and may include dual timelines.

How does it work?

Easy peasy! Make recommendations in the comment section each day and if you win, you win the book you suggested.

BUT YOU GOTTA FOLLOW THE RULES!

Publication dates must be
April, May or June 2018
Each day is genre specific so
only submit books from that genre
Christian Fiction books only please!
You can offer up to 3 suggestions a day
BUT
they need to be made in
three separate comments
(makes it easier for me to tally)
No email entries this week
(too hard to keep track of due to
# of responses)
NEW - entrants must submit their own selections
(not piggyback on someone else's  logon) - NEW
Open to International Readers
I'm all about spreading the good news about Christian Fiction
all over the globe!!!!!

It's helpful if you include your email (using AT and DOT instead of @ and . to protect yourself from spammers) but you only need to add it to one of your comments (per day). If you choose not to include your email then it's up to you to contact me if you're a winner.

Draw will held and winner announced on
Sunday March 25 2018

    1. Scratch Tracie's. This one released early. In March. I'll have to find another.

The Pirate's Bride by Kathleen Y'Barbo also releases on April 1, but I'm not planning on reading that one. Someone else might want to, though!

    2. Ohhh -- hope you're feeling spiffier, Diana. I knew Sarah Ladd had a new one coming out -- I'd written the info on a scrap of paper that is floating around somewhere so now I have it written in 'the book'. Thank you! And Squeeeaaalll!!! Another Michelle Griep so soon???? I'm in! Good luck, Diana.

    5. Just make sure that you curl up with a good book first. You'll want to clear your TBR pile to make room for all these great spring books coming out.

    2. Well there you go Diane! Sorry you are under the weather this morning, feel better soon!
And another recommendation I can make is
The Love Letter by Rachel Hauck June 12
I was lucky enough to read an advance copy of this dual timeline and it's fantastic! Modern day actress playing a Revolutionary war heroine!

      Delete
    3. I knew about Rachel's, but didn't know it was a dual timeline. Thanks, Tracey, for the recommendations and well wishes! I'll be fine. My heart was racing and pounding in my sleep. Probably bc of this! LOL!

    4. I was up and down all night and then up at 5 a.m.! But my problem was the caffeinated tea I drank way too late, I know better than to do that, what was I thinking?! I see a nap in my Monday afternoon future, haha.

    5. EEEEEEPPPPPPPP!!!!!!! Thud! Ouch, I think I have a concussion, my fainting couch wasn't on hand. Pam Hillman's next one comes out??????????? That sooooooon????? I did not know that!!! I have written it in my book with stars all around to indicate must buy IMMEDIATELY when it comes out. Be. Still. My. Heart. And thanks for the Rachel Hauck tip. Got that down as well. Wheeeeeee! Oh, and good luck, Tracey.

  8. This is always so much fun to research, and it is appearing there are a great many very good releases, although I haven't yet specifically looked at contemporary. I think that is the category in which we were finding slimmer pickings last time. I am going with a theme of just Bethany House books for the upcoming historical fiction. So, a continuation of an excellent series - Together Forever by Jody Hedlund, May 2018.
    Thanks!

  9. A new series - The Accidental Guardian by Mary Connealy, Apr 2018. A very different looking cover from her last series.

  10. A Breath of Hope by Lauraine Snelling, Apr 2018. I always like her northern immigrant books and have learned a great deal of history of that area. Thanks!
