A DAUGHTER FOR CHRISTMAS
To give her a real Christmas, they'll risk a surprising second chance
Single mum Eve Fallon hopes a real country Christmas will help her young daughter, Alice, to overcome trauma. Widowed rancher Tanner Cole doesn't believe in much of anything sine his own tragic loss. But as his steady patience coaxes Alice out of her shell, Eve works to rekindle his holiday happiness. Together they might be able to heal...and make a family for a lifetime.
My Review:
Yes, I know the holidays are over and I was going to put this book away until next Christmas but I couldn't quite manage to do it. For one, little Alice is pretty hard to ignore -- both on the cover and in the pages of this book. So I took the plunge into a seasonal wonderland of faith and hope. This is the kind of love story that curls your toes and makes you smile. And tugs at your heart a little too. I got teary-eyed by the end.
It's the third book in the Triple Creek Cowboys series, but reads wonderfully well as a standalone. But, if you are a Cole brothers fan you'll be all twitterpated over this last (sob) book. Lots of page time with previous heroes and heroines while focusing -- at last -- on big bro Tanner and healing his wounded heart.
Dees-licious perfection from beginning to end!

Oh I love it!! Your play on the author's name is so clever 😊
ReplyDeleteI fell in love with this series when I read "The Cowboy's Twin Surprise" and those adorable and Dee-lightful (soon to be) twins. I mean c'mon, how can anyone resist a cowboy slayed by babies?
Now my copy of "The Cowboy's Unexpected Baby" and Cole brother Garrett is clamoring for my attention!
I love this sweet cover! Who cares if it's a Christmas book? 😊 A definite need-to-read.
