My thanks to everyone for making this
such a fun week of bookish fellowship.
Love hanging out with a crowd of people
who take their TBR lists as seriously as I do! :-)

SIDE NOTE: Don't you find it strange that only one of the most popular books this week actually made it as a giveaway? Ah, the peculiarities of randomness. :-)
I'll send winners an email stating their book and publication date and also requesting a mailing address (or notification that you would prefer an ebook and confirmation of email address to send it to) so that I have everything ready for release day! Then I will email you once the book has been ordered.
LOOKING AHEAD TO NEXT WEEK'S GIVEAWAYS:
So, I have news. (Am I chatty today or what?!) CC gave me the idea last week. They've just announced this year's American Christian Fiction Writers Carol Awards finalists and I was surprised at the number of books unfamiliar to me (hanging my head in abject bibliophile shame.)
But, I thought it would be fun to do a genre specific Carol Awards giveaway every Monday throughout the summer. Each category has three finalists, which I will list in my blog post. If I've read any of them I'll also post a link to my review, but, like I said, I haven't read a lot of them. So you would enter the title of the book you'd like to win in the comment section and if your name is drawn that's the book I'll send you.
Am I making any sense? Probably not, my brain has been fried by all the tallying and random numbering. I'll try for a better explanation on Monday. Which leads me to what will be on offer that day:
Contemporary Category:
And the other giveaways this week will be:
Congrats, happy winners!! I'm rushing to my email to happily type many of these on my TBR list! Paula, you will so enjoy Mountain Laurel! That's the book I was raving about, Kav.
ReplyDeleteMy little TBR books i pleasing plump now!
DeleteCongratulations to all the book winners this week!
ReplyDeleteI'm thrilled to win Sea Glass Castle, all 3 books in this series are so pretty!
Thanks Kav! I noticed I had no read many of the Carol Award nominations either. Must improve on those numbers!
I wonder how they choose which books end up on the list to be finalists? And how did I miss so many titles?
DeleteCongrats to all the winners! Some fantastic books!
ReplyDeleteThanks for choosing me Miss Random picker!
That was a book that I was hoping to get on the team but Lori switched publishers and won’t have a team this time.
Blessings Kav!
Isn't randomness awesome sometimes?
DeleteI so wanted to be on Lori's launch team once again, but as you said none for Tyndale. So I got it on NetGalley. You will love it, Paula!
DeleteMiss Randomness must have gotten scared of all my Haughting at Bonaventure Circus posts & ran and hid from me! Bwahahahaha
I like your idea of featuring the Carol nomiees.
ReplyDeleteI don't know why I didn't think of it before. All it took was for CC to nudge my brain a bit. :-)
DeleteYAY YAY THANKS for the win, Kav! Enjoyed the whole week and congrats to all the winners!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Jackie. Good luck!
DeleteThank you! <3 Congratulations to the other fortunate winners!

You're welcome, Kay!
DeleteThank you again for doing this last week. I wait for these weeks. I also see new to me authors and books. I love this part of it. Ohh you are making a lot of sense. What a wonderful idea. Thank you for thinking of this and all of us. LOL Thank you for helping feed our book addiction. quilting dash lady at comcast dot net
ReplyDeleteHa! You might be the only one to say I make a lot of sense. I am basking in the glow of that comment. :-)
DeleteCongrats and happy reading! A fun week was had by all! Love the additional analysis you did. I think the method to educate and to spotlight the Carol Award finalists is an added plus. Perhaps the Christy Award finalists later in the year, too?
ReplyDeleteBy the way, you have further piqued my curiosity re the most popular votes. It would be interesting, and to their marketing and acquisitions managers, too, I would imagine, which publishing house is most represented. Yes, I was a business major. LOL. Our group makes a good survey team of avid readers.
ReplyDeleteThanks for picking me for The Amish Newcomer. Patrice Lewis is a new author for me.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Kav!! What a fun week - thank you!
ReplyDeleteI will go ahead and email you my address to save you a step =)
Congrats to everyone!! :-)
ReplyDeleteSo excited! Thank you!! I added so many great books to my wishlist this week too. <3
ReplyDeleteThankful to receive A Joyful Christmas ~ 6 historical stories!! This is always so much fun and I look forward to it. Jotted down titles for next two get-togethers, Oct-Dec and Jan-Mar! So looking forward to other readers' input too. Thanks!! Kathleen ~ Lane Hill House
