Reader's Choice -- Romantic Suspens / Mystery

GIVEAWAY

It's that time to stock up on your summer reading and that means...

 Reader's Choice Giveaway!

So here's how this thing works: You recommend CHRISTIAN FICTION titles with release dates in July, August or September 2020 (up to three suggestions per genre day) and you have a chance to win one of your recommendations! BUT it's a little more complicated than that so be sure to read ALL the details before entering.

PLEASE NOTE: email entries are not eligible this week. :-(

IT'S ROMANTIC SUSPENSE/MYSTERY GIVEAWAY DAY!

To be entered in the draw just leave a comment (or 3) below, including the title(s) of the book(s) in the Romantic Suspense/ Mystery genre you would like to win.

Romantic Suspense / Mystery

A full length story or novella or collection of novellas where mystery is an important part of the plot. The hero or heroine (or both) are often in peril (more so in suspense.) Can be set in any time period - Contemporary or historical. May cross genres such as YA, Amish etc and may include dual timelines.

How does it work?

Easy peasy! Make recommendations in the comment section each day and if you win, you win the book you suggested.

BUT YOU GOTTA FOLLOW THE RULES!

Publication dates must be
July, August or September 2020
Each day is genre specific so
only submit books from that genre
Christian Fiction books only please!
You can offer up to 3 suggestions per genre day
BUT
they need to be made in
three separate comments
(makes it easier for me to tally)
No email entries this week
(too hard to keep track of due to
# of responses)
entrants must submit their own selections
(not piggyback on someone else's  logon)
Open to International Readers
I'm all about spreading the good news about Christian Fiction
all over the globe!!!!!

It's helpful if you include your email (using AT and DOT instead of @ and . to protect yourself from spammers) but you only need to add it to one of your comments (per day). If you choose not to include your email then it's up to you to contact me if you're a winner.

Draw will held and winner announced on
Saturday June 27 2020

  1. Okay I have a couple in mind for my husband :-) Do you know how hard it is to find Christian fiction for a man who doesn't really like romance in his books but loves political/legal type stories? He's a huge Tom Clancy/Clive Cussler fan! Anywhooo...

    1. Wait -- you mean there's such a thing as Christian fiction without romance? What ever for? :-) I've become quite a Carrie Stuart Parks fan -- but I have to catch up, I think, before I read this July release. And Colleen Coble? How does she churn them out so fast?! Good luck, Trixi!

    2. Yes, but that's okay! He loves to read as much as I do & He's a paperback fan so you have to give him a huge golden star sticker for that! :-) I've gotten quite a few recommendations from my trusted reader friends to find authors that he would like. I love that I can reach out to my "community"!

    3. I heartily approve of his paperback preference. :-) And I suppose I have to concede that not everyone has a romantical heart for their fiction. :-) My library is still closed...thankfully they are providing a lot of selection with audiobooks. I have a date though -- July 13 -- but only for dropping off books and picking up holds. :-( The building won't be open until sometime in the fall which is very discouraging for those of us who have used their air conditioning as respite from the excessive heat during the summer. :-(

  4. Good morning to all! Trixi, at least your hubby reads! Mine reads his phone. But he's a great hubby anyway. I read enough for the both of us! lol Now to the business at hand.

    1) The Haunting at Bonaventure Circus by Jaime Jo Wright (Sept 1)

*Is it obvious I read one of Jaime's books just recently bc I'm SO ready to read another?! haha*

    1. Diane, he only reads paperback books. During the closing of our library he was bereft because I didn't have much of anything on my physical bookshelf to offer him....except for Siri Mitchell & Carrie Stuart Parks. I don't really read anything WITHOUT romance so I felt really bad for him. I told him I could borrow books from Overdrive or Kindle Unlimted but he wouldn't even consider reading on my Kindle.

There's so much more to love than what kind of books our spouses read isn't there? ;-)

    2. Methinks you're right! Something about this book sounds deliciously creepy & as long as a book isn't too graphic, I like a little creepy! I'll hafta find out if there's a cameo appearance by an Amish family at the circus, so I can also work it in on Amish choice day! Bwahahahaha

    3. I'll be reading Jamie Jo Wrights book since I signed up for it & I can't wait. Though I am a bit nervous since the last one (Echoes Among the Stones) creeped me out so bad!! I couldn't read it at night...AT ALL!!

I don't know what Bonaveture Circus will bring, a haunted Circus with killer clowns??? Or something more sinister.....YIKES BIKES!

      Delete
    4. Echoes Among the Stones didn't creep me out like I thought it would. I hope no killer clowns in this one! I enjoy how Jaime seamlessly interweaves the past with the present! Just be sure to read with all the lights on, Trixi! lol

    1. You're first choice isn't Christian fiction, Kay. I've tried a few of Linda Castillo's novels but they have excessive language issues so, even though there's an Amish element these are very much mainstream secular fiction. Feel free to choose another one. Good luck, Kay!
