Reader's Choice - Retro Read

GIVEAWAY

It's that time again -- when a bibliophile's fancy turns to new spring releases....and that means.....

 Reader's Choice Giveaway!

So here's how this thing works: You recommend CHRISTIAN FICTION titles with released in 2019 or earlier (up to three suggestions per genre day) and you have a chance to win one of your recommendations! BUT it's a little more complicated than that so be sure to read ALL the details before entering.

PLEASE NOTE: email entries are not eligible this week. :-(

IT'S RETRO READS GIVEAWAY DAY!

To be entered in the draw just leave a comment (or 3) below, including the title(s) of the book(s) in the Retro Reads category you would like to win.

Retro Reads

A full length story or novella or collection of novellas published in 2019 or earlier. Here's a chance to catch the one that got away.

How does it work?

Easy peasy! Make recommendations in the comment section each day and if you win, you win the book you suggested.

BUT YOU GOTTA FOLLOW THE RULES!

Publication dates must be
2019 or earlier
Each day is genre specific so
only submit books from that genre
Christian Fiction books only please!
You can offer up to 3 suggestions per genre day
BUT
they need to be made in
three separate comments
(makes it easier for me to tally)
No email entries this week
(too hard to keep track of due to
# of responses)
entrants must submit their own selections
(not piggyback on someone else's  logon)
Open to International Readers
I'm all about spreading the good news about Christian Fiction
all over the globe!!!!!

It's helpful if you include your email (using AT and DOT instead of @ and . to protect yourself from spammers) but you only need to add it to one of your comments (per day). If you choose not to include your email then it's up to you to contact me if you're a winner.

Draw will held and winner announced on
Saturday June 27 2020

This one got 4.9 out of 87 (five) star reviews so not too shabby! Although I'm not fond of covers with ladies in humongous pink hats, this one IS pretty. lol

  20. We all thank you so much for a fun week - such a nice break from our worsening Covid-19 issues in my state (and many others, unfortunately)!! Reading and dreaming of reading are such good escapes! So, I am going to use this opportunity to consider books I would like to add to my current holdings of three favorite authors (and I have recently taken advantage of Baker Book House's 30% off and free shipping to add more!)

With Every Letter by Sarah Sundin.

    1. That Baker book House's deal is fantastic. Alas, not for Canadians, I fear. Yes, this COVID recovery is going to tricky. We're doing pretty well with slowly opening but a nail salon in a nearby down didn't abide by all the safety protocols and now 16 people have diagnosed positive and more than 500 customers who visited the salon in a two week period are being asked to quarantine themselves for 14 days! My mind is still trying to wrap around that many people thinking it's a good idea to get your nails down the first reopening week. The sheer numbers are proof that social distancing practises weren't in place. Oy. Lucky we have books to distract us. Good luck, CC!

  29. How does one come up with ONLY three books when there's so many to catch up with/ choose from?? Such a readerly dilemma 😂

This isn't such a "retro read", but one I desperately want:

    1. Stay With Me by Becky Wade ~May 2020

Ever since I first discovered her with the Bradford Sisters series, she's my go-to & must-read contemporary author!

  30. To complete my set:

    2. Cold Aim by Janice Cantore~July 2019

  31. And lastly because I've heard a lot of great things about this series & it involves a coffee shop:

    2. The Solid Grounds Coffee Company by Carla Laureano~ February 2020
