GIVEAWAY |
It's time to stock up on your summer reading and that means....
Reader's Choice Giveaway!
So here's how this thing works: You recommend CHRISTIAN FICTION titles with release dates in July, August or September 2020 (up to three suggestions per genre day) and you have a chance to win one of your recommendations! BUT it's a little more complicated than that so be sure to read ALL the details before entering.
PLEASE NOTE: email entries are not eligible this week. :-(
IT'S CONTEMPORARY ROMANCE/FICTION GIVEAWAY DAY!
To be entered in the draw just leave a comment (or 3) below, including the title(s) of the book(s) in the Contemporary Romance/Fiction genre you would like to win.
Contemporary Romance/Fiction
A full length story or novella or collection of novellas set in any time period after the 1980s. May cross genres such as YA, suspense, Amish etc and may include dual timelines.
How does it work?
Easy peasy! Make recommendations in the comment section each day and if you win, you win the book you suggested.
BUT YOU GOTTA FOLLOW THE RULES!
Publication dates must be
July, August or September 2020
Each day is genre specific so
only submit books from that genre
Christian Fiction books only please!
You can offer up to 3 suggestions per genre day
BUT
they need to be made in
three separate comments
(makes it easier for me to tally)
No email entries this week
(too hard to keep track of due to
# of responses)
entrants must submit their own selections
(not piggyback on someone else's logon)
Open to International Readers
I'm all about spreading the good news about Christian Fiction
all over the globe!!!!!
It's helpful if you include your email (using AT and DOT instead of @ and . to protect yourself from spammers) but you only need to add it to one of your comments (per day). If you choose not to include your email then it's up to you to contact me if you're a winner.
Draw will held and winner announced on
Saturday July 27 2020

ReplyDeleteHi, Tracey! See my comment below.
DeleteDiana, I'm sticking with it, Aug or Sept, either works, so we will see :)
DeleteI forgot fall started Sept 22. I was thinking more like pumpkins, mums, Halloween candy, etc. (smacking hand to forehead) Hopefully it'll release in Sept. Looking forward to reading it when it does!
DeleteWe'll cross our fingers and hope it's September and if it's later and you win the draw, you'll have to keep reminding me until it releases. lol
DeleteSea Glass Castle by T.I. Lowe Aug 4
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway Kav, hope your list is getting plumpy :)
Screeching over all of these. And yes, thank you very much my TBR list is pleasantly plump now -- on the way to bursting at the seams! Good luck, Tracey!

Ooohhh -- an Irish summer romance? Yes Please!!!! You found some great ones here -- I've never heard of Chautona Havig so that third choice is extra intriguing to me. Good luck, Kay!
DeleteChautona gives one of her books away every weekend on Amazon ebooks.
DeleteShe is a hoot. She has a blog. She is besties with Christine Barella of Celebrate Lit!
I just checked her website. She's written tons and I'm just hearing about here now????? Gah!
DeleteAnd...she has a bookcentric podcast! Eeeeppp. She might be the find of the week for me. Thanks Kay and Paula!
Delete1) Some Bright Someday by Melissa Tagg (August), but it's not showing on Amazon yet so we'll see...
ReplyDeletedianalflowers(at)aol(dot)com
I sent a mss'g to Melissa Tagg to see if she could shed some light on release date. Will let you know when she gets back with me.
DeleteOk, Melissa said she's been having some struggles & the book more than likely won't be out til fall (she's hoping to at least release it this year.) No date yet.
DeleteSo again, I'll change my choice to:
1) The Haunting of Bonaventure Circus. lol
2) Under Scottish Stars by Carla Laureano (July 7)
ReplyDeleteDon't count this one by Carla L, Kav. Tyndale is giving me an ARC. They took so long to let me know, I thought I wasn't going to get it. So now that I've completely messed up your beautiful blogpost, I'll be on my wayyyy. Eek!

ReplyDelete3) A Dazzle of Diamonds by Liz Johnson (Aug 4)
ReplyDeleteOhhh -- an interesting twist to our contemporary choices (Melissa Tagg's book) though September might be considered Fall and is included in the giveaway release dates. Ah well, I can see you found a substitute. :-) And I'd be jumping up and down over A Dazzle of Diamonds cause of love this series but I'm so hot all I can do is sweat more profusely in my excitement over it's upcoming release. lol Good luck, Diana!
DeleteWe usually drool in our excitement over all these good books. Now we sweat profusely. LOL!
DeleteI would have picked A Dazzle of Diamonds, but Ihave read a review copy, swoony!!! Good choice!
DeleteKav, If I were that hot, I would take up reading in the bathtub, lol
DeleteLol, Tracey. I'd fall asleep in the tub & drop my Kindle or book in the water! I love Liz Johnson's books! Especially her PEI series. Thanks for the great recommendation!
DeleteYes, now I'm really excited about A Dassle of Diamonds. Ugh -- it's so hot that my fingers stick to the laptop keys. I'm such a wuss. At least it's not two hundred years ago when I'd be wearing layers of petticoats! How did our ancestors do it?
DeletePoor, Kav. Ugh, can you imagine petticoats AND corsets? BTW I just saw on Liz Johnson's pg that she's writing another Prince Edward Island series -- coming out next year! YES!!
DeleteOoohhh -- that is a great inside scoop. Another PEI series!!! I'm in, That's my dream vacation...well, aside from Ireland.
DeleteThe Christmas Swap, Melody Carlson, Sept. Thanks!
ReplyDeletePiecing It All Together, Leslie Gould, August. Thanks!

Glad you found it easier to pick contemporary fiction authors this time round. I'm super excited about T. I. Lowe's and Liz Johnson's -- especially since Trace said A Dazzle of Diamonds is a swoony one. And yes, what would Christmas be without a Melody Carlson Christmas story? Good luck, Trixi!

ReplyDelete(Only place I can find this right now is Goodreads, and it says expected publication August 2020. It seems as if she's now self-publishing, so I'm assuming that's why it hasn't popped up on the major sites yet?)
pocoauthorATgmailDOTcom
Yes, there was a bit of a discussion about this way up at the beginning of the comments. Diana Flowers contacted the author who said she wasn't going to make the August release date but hope to have it out in the fall since September can be considered the beginning of the fall season we're hoping that's when it releases and so I'm taking entries for this title. Just be warned it may not be out until later in which case I'm going to ask you to keep an eye on the release date and let me know when it's finally available if you win.So if you're okay with that, we're good to go. Good luck, Nicole.
